I have been lurking

I grew up in North Carolina. I lived in Jacksonville. My father was stationed there. I lived there during the 50's and 60's then moved to Raleigh where I met my former husband and had my first child. I still have some friends living in Carolina thatI went to school with and we remain in touch. I know things have changed a lot since I lived in the state. North Carolina remains in my heart. How I look forward to a visit. I remember as a teenager going to Atlantic Beach and dancing (shag) at the Pavilion. If anyone would like to stroll down memory lane with me I would enjoy the walk. Oh! how I long for a barbecue sandwich with slaw. People in Colorado don't know about Carolina barbecue.
