Just wanted to update
Hi everyone how are yall doing. I myself am enjoying this wonderful weather and working on the new me. I went to the Dr Tuesday and at that point I have lost 18 lbs and as of this morning I was 22 lbs down. Yeahhhhhhh meeeeeee I am so excited. But I am concerned about when I can finally eat solid foods. I am wondering what will be the best things to start off with? I am only 10 days out from surgery and I have already had a wow moment... I can finally get my wedding rings back on. YEAHHHHHHH.. I was so happy and so was DH. I have been wearing them around my neck. I know its a small step but I cant explain how happy I was. I am really glad I decided to do this. Yall people on the OH board has been heaven sent to me. I have learned so much for each and every one of you. Yeah I have had to hear some negitivity about this but I dont care because its my body and my health. So I know I make the right choice. My Drs appt went great everything is healing fine The day home from the hospital I was walking 1/2 mile with no problem now I am walking alittle over a mile. I came home the day after surgery, thats how good I was doing. The day of surgery I was up. they wouldnt let me walk around because of the meds but I was still up and out of bed. It was Monday night and I couldnt Miss monday night RAW !!!! Yes I am a wrestling fanatic. But all is well here. How about yall, hows it going.oh yeah and I am looking for some protein tips. I am getting sick of Chocolate and Vanilla.. Anyone have any great ideas?????
Holly: I am so happy things are going great for you. I am especially happy that you can again wear your wedding rings. I have been unable to wear my wedding rings for over a year and I cannot wait till the day I can wear mine again. I have just refused to take them again to get them resized larger but I am so excited that one day I can wear them - hopefully soon. Keep up the walking and keep us posted on how you are doing. take care. Donna
congratulations on getting your wedding rings on! that is truly a WOW moment...it won't be long before they are too big for you!
Keep up the walking...I fully believe that the walking is what has made it easier for me to lose 103 lbs in 7 months.
For a change with protein drinks (and I still drink a protein shake for breakfast every single morning), I sometimes have Isopure (bottled, from GNC) and sometimes I mix Crystal Light Orange Sunrise with AnyWhey unflavored protein in the blender. Both are nice changes from the thicker, vanilla or chocolate shakes.
