Hi all,

This is the day of pondering the blessings we have and share with others.  I hope you take the time to reflect.

Today we take mom in law to church.  Then a relaxing day with hubby.  I only have one day with him the next two weeks.  Hallmark will be taking me through  my first days of work.  It will be a very long day tomorrow.  I leave the house at 6:30am and get home maybe around 7:30pm.

I finally got a letter from Voc. Rehab. saying I qualify for services.  I am hoping they can help me get a great job that will be rewarding.

Maybe I will do a little study today, not sure.

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Hi shoutjoy-today is the last day of my 2 week liquid diet thank goodness and tomorrow is my surgery day thank goodness.  I am so ready to get the surgery behind me so I can quit being anxious about it.  It's scary but hopefully will be worth it in the end!  Can't wait til I can post I have lost 100 lbs!

So I've got to wash some clothes today & get a bag ready to go to the hospital in the am.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Thinking also of all those lost on 9/11 10 years ago.

Kelly I hope you re not planning on packing a whole lot.

I packed underwear, wore the same clothes out that I wore in (make sure they are loose cuz you will probably have some swelling), slippers, socks, my cellphone, flushable wet wipes, and lip balm......... also have a list of your meds on hand in case they ask what you are taking - include any over the counter stuff you take on a daily basis.

You should use the gowns they give you at the hospital because you might have some leakage and you do not want that mess getting on your clothes. Things like a laptop or magazines/books wont be needed because you will most likely either be sleeping or up walking around.

Be sure you have a solid pillow for the drive home so you can put it over the surgical site for those inevitable bumps the car is gunna hit, helps with coughing too.

If I think of anything else I will let you know......
