Pleasant Thursday Roll Call

Hasn't the evening and morning temps been wonderful?  I have so enjoyed it!

Well, we are on for Saturday.  Finally, and hopefully no more hiccups.  Helpers are welcome.  I know it is no fun to help people move.  However, the good part is that it's all in one place.  No stairs, no having to fit through difficult turns and doors. We will have a small pizza party afterwards as a small celebration.  If you can find the time to help either with load or unload, it would be greatly appreciated.  I know there are support groups going on in the morning that day but we won't be done loading until later in the afternoon.  The more we have the quicker it will get done.  Think about it ok?  Thanks.

Today is getting the cars filled with gas and maybe a little grocery shopping.  I can finally get out of the house for a little while today.  Yippee!  What's on your agenda?

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Nothing planned for today.
Watched your news segment last night and I got MAD. Mad that any company with a supposedly reputable reputation could do that to anyone- good they went out of business, bad they did it during YOUR move. What a bunch of buttholes.....

Like I said last night- wish I could help, just not in the cards. This is my last preop weekend and hubby has to put in more hours to cover for the 2 weeks he is taking off. Sorry.

Yesterday was a PITA- waited forever for the anesthesiologist and he used the excuse of him having not gotten the text. Yea right he was right there outside the door when the nurse told him but he chose to go get coffee instead. But he won't be the one putting me under, it will be another guy. Thank Goodness.

Actually there might be stuff planned for today- like finishing some minor cleaning and MAYBE just maybe going for a gym run. I dunno. Today is gunna be the last day for this cabbage soup YUCK. I am going over to SF jello and POPsicles tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great day.....

Proud,
I cannot beleive you have more cleaning to do! It seems like all you've been doing is cleaning. So, just to help out, if you need to continue cleaning and have run out at your house, come on over! LOL

In case I don't say it again, good luck on the surgery. I know it has been a long time coming and I hope everything goes smoothly. Let us know just before you go in so I can keep you in my thoughts.

LOL I mess up just to clean up sometimes. I am an obsessive compulisve when it comes to my house. I will FIND things that do not look right. LOL. Keeps me from sitting around being bored, since I am not a TV watcher or all that crafty with my hands. It is all good, I do not mind cleaning, just me i guess.

Hi Paula,

I saw your FB link to your moment of fame as they told your story. I'm glad that you got them involved and were able to get a resolution, even if it wasn't a perfect one. I'm sorry that you have had such a difficult transition to NC and hope that from here on out you will have smooth sailings.

I wish I were in a position to help this weekend, but Ben just had knee surgery and the support group meeting this month is a major event that will require a significant set-up and breakdown...

Wishing you all the best and a smooth move home.

This is happy news that you will finally get your household goods. I am glad you are getting yours before i get mine. Mine is scheduled to deliver via PODS at the end of this month. Living in a nearly empty house does make one a bit stir crazy when you know most everything you need is in storage but you can't get to it right now. I am glad you got it worked out.

on a slightly annoying plus side to that though- you know what you can live without. and i say that because for YEARS I existed out of two duffle bags and a 13 gallon garbage bag. Wasn't the easiest life but I managed, and YES I was married- we were nomads so to speak. Not married to that person anymore and happliy married and stable right where I am now.
