Hello Everyone!
I see we have a daily post again....that is FANTASTIC.
I celebrated my 4 year surgiversary last month and the doctor was very pleased with my progress. But he did stress that I would need to get in exercise if I even wanted to keep the weight off let alone that I was complaining that I still need to lose. So I started walking again on a daily bases at least 2 miles and will add back in my water classes in the near future.
Work has done a 180 for me. Just when I thought I was at the end of the rope, another rope was thrown by the one person I least expected it from. I actually LOVE my job now and everyone there is so much happier that a year ago. I feel very secure for the first time in more years than I can count.
I am in classes right now in Myrtle Beach so I had a little free time to get on-line and decided it had been too long since I visited with you all. I will be here until Friday afternoon, so hopefully I will be able to check back again tomorrow.
Hope to visit again soon, I really miss all of you................
(((((Carrie))))),
It's sooo good to see you again and I'm just delighted to hear that things seem to have finally turned around for you. I know that your tough year has been very different than mine, but that it has been equally challenging for you and I'm so very glad to hear that things are finally better for you.
I'm also glad to hear that your appointment went well and that you have renewed your committment to take better care of yourself. I hope that newbies and other grads will follow your lead and make sure to see their Dr to follow up on their care. It's really an important part of our long term success.
See you soon my friend.
Love,
Barbara
