I just wanted to stop by and say hello to my neighbors! I am a resident of Greensboro, NC and am going to be having my DS done in Mexico due to not being able to get insurance. We are self-employed and this is the only way we can afford it.
Anyway, I am a wife, mother of 2 teen boys and 2 beautiful girls 11 months apart, ages 9 ****il the older one's bday in a few days on 4/19) who runs a couple of businesses and is a fulltime student looking to run a few more after I graduate!
I am easy going but not a push over, love music, reading, bowling, and sports. A huge Blue Devil fan even though hubby is a Tar Heeler lol and also love my Steelers!!!
I really hope I am making the right choice going to Mexico and am praying every minute of every day leading towards my surgery date.

I wish you all luck and great success!!!

Hi Nevaeh,

Welcome to the forum. I look forward to getting to know you as you make your way. I know of several people that have gone to Mexico for their surgery and all have had very good success. I think that researching their surgery and surgeons has been a big reason for that. Also finding a support group locally will go a long way towards helping you get through that weight loss phase and then getting your feet under you as you settle into your maintenance of your new life.

Please let us know how you are doing and feel free to ask many questions.

Warmly,

Barbara

Wishing the best for you! I too went to Mexico. I had my surgery done by Dr Joya at the wrong time of year, the start of the rainy season. Looks like you are going at a good time.
