Surgery Date Set

I have been a "stalker" on this board since I decided to have the surgery. Duke called last week and my surgery is set for April 14th.  I was wondering if there was anyone else that is on that day or near it.

Congratulations on your surgery date. I know of someone personally that will be sharing a near date to yours at Duke. She belongs to my support group, but I don't know that she comes onto the OH forums. I hope that you'll start sharing your experiences as you make your way. We learn so much from each other and it helps to know that you are not alone on this journey.

If you are every in Raleigh area, you are most welcome to come to some of our support group meetings that I host here. I have a big general meeting on the 3rd Saturday of the month and then smaller meetings throughout the month on weeknight evenings.

My surgery is April 28th and I am both nervous and excited!! Can't wait to start my new life!!

I feel the same way. When I got the call I didn’t know whether to scream, cry, shout, or jump. 

Hi, my surgery date is April 6th at Rex. I know exactly how you feel. I know everyone around me is tired of hearing about it. But they are to supportive to say anything

I know the "stalker" feeling as well. My surgery is scheduled for 4/11/11 and I'm so excited and a little nervous. I'm going through Duke as well. Who's your surgeon?
