Freezy Rainy Monday Roll Call
Yucky day. Well it could be worse. Supposed to get up to 54 up here. I can't wait to get down south! We are looking at a huge apartment complex in Cary. Our biggest challenge is finding storage for all hubby's garage stuff. I have been awake since 2am. Golly, I am too stressed.
Today I have to take my poor sick doggy to the vet if they have an opening. I was hoping I could wait until I get down there to a decent vet but I can't wait. She is so congested. Worried about her. I have an appointment with my OVR councelor and then a flag meeting at church. I don't know why I'm going except I'm curious about it.
I am trying to get through an online course in Microsoft Applications but it is hard to concentrate. I may need to get an extension. Then once done, take the exam so I can be certified. I am hoping for good job opportunities down there.
You all have a great day!
I do love the fact that so many thngs are starting to bloom and sprout that there's at least some color out there. I got some herb & wild flower seeds this weekend that I'm hoping to get planted this afternoon after work. My greenthumb is itching to start playing in the dirt. Last year I skipped having a garden because I was just so wiped out - this year's garden promises to be bigger and better than anything I've done previously. Just looking at seed catalogs and gardening websites reduces my stress. Plus the chickens & the goats make me feel like a farmer.
I had a great weekend with my Girlfriends. We were up late every night. We hung out at Starbucks and the Borders Bookstore. Got some great finds at the Thrift Store, Target & Michaels. Oh and Trader Joes. One of the girls had never been to TJ's - she has dubbed it "Grocery Nirvana" ha ha ha. I discovered a decaf coffee there that is heavenly. When I brewed it last night - David & his roommate both slurped it up and commented on how good it was. Then I told them it was decaf. So they finished off the whole pot and got a greeat nights sleep.
Sorry to hear your doggie isn't feeling up to par...what type of dog is it? Hopefully the vet can work you in and get her fixed up quickly. I love my labs. They are such great companions. I personally think everyone needs at least one dog.
Hope everyone has a great day. Oh and happy Spring Yall.

Paula,
Hoping that your dog feels better soon and that there is nothing serious to worry about. I also hope that you are able to focus so that you can finish your MS Application and get the certification you are working towards. I'm sure that all of the stress and lack of sleep must be making it really hard to concentrate.
Iris,
It sounds like you had a great weekend and I hope you found some great goodies! Like you, I just LOVE Trader Joe's and agree with your friend that TJs is grocery Nirvana. I'm from CA and was in TJ withdrawal until they arrived ;-)
Like you, we are looking forward to the growing season. Ben spent all afternoon working on clearing the garden patch... It still needs work, but I can already see the tomatoes, basil, etc...
