Hi all,

Another day of packing.  A friend of mine is coming over to be my packing cheerleader.  That makes me happy.  Tonight, another friend of mine and I are going to Emporium to see Fieldstone.  They are a husband and wife group that sings celtic, blues and a number of other genre.  I won't get to see them before I leave.  I always bring my Irish whistle when they play.  She makes it sing!  I am just a beginner.  Hubby is still trying to find us a place to live in the Cary area.  If you know of any rentals available, let me know.

I hope you have a fabulous day!  More and more of the snow is melting but flooding is becoming an issue.  Yikes!

Clueless about weight loss and weight loss surgery of any kind.

Hi Paula,

It sound like you have a wonderful evening planned. What a great way to shake off the cobwebs after all that packing.

I'm not aware of any rentals in the Cary area, but will keep my ears and eyes open. I thought I recalled that you were going to be moving back to your home in Durham though, did your plans change?

I'm getting ready to take a bunch of cupcakes and fresh fruit to a friend's house where we will be serving a bunch a teens that will swarm in for a quick lunch. A bunch of moms have gotten together to make this available once a week for the high school kids and everyone seems to really enjoy it.

Later I'll have to rest my back, then get ready for the monthly support group meeting tomrrow.

Other than that, I'm hoping to enjoy the beautiful weather some. It's just lovely!

Have a great day,

Barbara

What a gorgeous day here in sunny Carolina. And it's PAYDAY!!!!!!!!!!! I can't wait to get the weekend started. No big plans for tonight but tomorrow is the monthly girls night out with 3 friends that brings back such great memories from being a kid and a teenager. Facebook helped get us all back together. Now we all try to motivate, support and encourage each other almost daily. But to have a weekend where there are no kids, significant others & NO expectations from anyone is a complete transformation for all of us.

I've got a little side trip planned to Trader Joes tomorrow for some Costa Rican coffee beans and who knows what else may jump in my cart (a bottle or 3 of vino). Love their cheese selection. Would love to find time for a pedicure while I'm out and about but may settle for a couple of new polishes and have a do it yourself night while I'm with the girls. Better plan on doing that early in the evening - we put off making Gingerbread houses at our December girls night - well they were anything but pretty. Mine resembled a yurt but nowhere near as sturdy. Of course that was after Margaritas and bloody marys at about 2 in the morning.

Good Times.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.
