Anyone have a PCP familiar with WLS issues

I love my PCP but it is becoming clearer to me that she has no experience with WLS patients, the malabsorption issues, vitamin deficiences, etc.  I mentioned a deca (sp) scan to her at my last visit and she was not sure why I would want one.

Does anyone have a female PCP that is more familiar with WLS and the associated issues.  I live in live in Cary but work in Durham so I am willing to accept a doctor in Chapel Hill, Durham, Cary, Morrisville or even Raleigh depending on how far.

I go to dr alex newman in cary on kildaire behind wakemed. I see him or his ANP who is a female. I have had no problems so far. Infact they told me they had a couple of patients who had wls. Website is alexandernewmanmd.com
