Good Morning Everyone! Friday Edition
Good Morning Everyone!
I am so glad it is Friday and therefore the last workday for this week. It has been a very busy week and I need to be refreshed and energized. I don't think I had worked a full week since before Thanksgiving, so it was exhausting for me this week.
How was your week? What are your plans for the weekend?
I believe I am back on plan as far as my food is concerned and I have worked on getting at least 6 hours of sleep/night but find that I need the full 8 to feel refreshed. I keep telling myself that I dedicated 2011 to getting balance, so if my body needs 8 hours of sleep I will need to work around that need to have that balance. Reflecting on this past week, I see that I do function so much better with a low carb food plan. So although I love carbs, I need to limit them and not allow them to slip back into my plan.
Yesterday I felt like I wanted something more than the black coffee I had been drinking in the mornings so I bought some RTD vanilla protein drink and added as a creamer. YUMMY! The almond milk and soy milk just left my coffee lacking somehow. Now I will have added protein and still be able to keep my coffee low carb (creamers had too many carbs for me) since coffee is a main part of my food plan.
Well I seem to be running behind again today, so it off to the shower for me.
Wishing you all a WONDERFUL Friday!

No plans this weekend cause I am broke but I started a blog and if I find I am consistant with it I will share the link later. Mostly I can't wait for Monday. Weird huh?

we had a very nice over 50 support group last night, meeting a transplant from charlotte who has returned home to raliegh. their loss is our gain!
I'm freezing and will be off to get a hot cup of coffee in a few minutes. i'll probably see about making a soup or two this weekend to stave off the cold.
I'm really working hard at getting in my supplements and i'm being pretty good about it.
sorry for the short notes.
