Support Groups...do we have any local meetings?
Hello Everyone, I live in North Raleigh and I am almost 4 weeks pre-op. Anyway, there are all kinds of issues coming up that I need advice with and I don't feel I should post everything. Therefore, someone recommended that I start attending the support groups before I have the surgery. They said it is good therapy. So...do we have one that I can attend?

i host a number of support group mtgs throughout the month and you are welcome to attend any of them. you can find out about them at www.meetup.com/nc-wls.
you may also be interested in attending the duke raleigh bariatric support group meetings nd even though you are having your surgery at the duraham facility i know that you will be welcome. Here is a link to the url for the upcoming support group meeting.
