Thank You for the Well Wishes...Home From Surgery
Hi All,
I am happy to report that I was able to come home from the hospital today at noon after two days there. Surgery went well and now I am on the road to recovery and loosing. I am still somewhat sore, but I'm sure that will keep improving over the next few days, especially now that I am home in my familiar surroundings.
Thank you to everyone for the well wishes. It meant a lot to have positive thoughts being sent my way during all of this.
I hope this finds each of you doing well.
Take care. Have a happy and safe New Years!

Lisa,
Congratulations and welcome to the loser's bench! Be sure to sip, sip, sip, and walk, walk, walk. The sipping constantly will help you stay hydrated and allow you to get in as much protein as possible. The walking help pump the blood through your body and doing so helps minimize the chance of problems with blood clots and helps your body dissipate the gas used to inflate your abdomen during the surgery.
I look forward to seeing you soon.
