Good Morning Everyone!

What are your plans for today?  How was your day Yesterday?  Come share with us.

Today will be very busy again.  I will have to start closing out my books for this month and this year.
We have a lot of employees out again getting in that last day of vacation time. Yesterday I noticed that those who were working seemed to have colds and I heard a lot of coughing.  I was feeling really tired last evening, so I really hope I am not getting that nasty stuff too!  Hopefully all the supplements I take are helping protect me for this situation.

I am looking forward to a 3 day weekend again and plan on trying to find a little time to get in some reading.  We have a New Years Day breakfast planned with friends but other than that we can catch up errands and chores before returning to work on Monday.

Wishing you all a WONDERFUL Thursday!

Today I am back to my usual routine of catching up here on OH and FB after drinking my protein drink while the rest of the household is asleep. I realize this is the only time I have to myself everyday. When school starts back up I will still have it but it will begin an hour or so earlier in order for me to get my nutrition in and get out the door in time for my first class. I remember wanting to sleep all the time before I got my weight down. Now I sleep better at night and wake up naturally after about 8 hours no matter what time I go to bed the night before. This is one of the benefits of changing my whole lifestyle. The last couple of days I spent getting my husband terry to the doctor at a free clinic to be evaluated for some dizzy spells and sudden headaches he has been having. They are so bad he isn't doing any driving because he nearly passes out. It turns out the concussion may not be the only damage he received from that door dropping on his head. He may have some inner ear damage. He needs to be seen by a neurologist. We are working on getting that to happen. We do not qualify for medicaid and he isn't quite old enough yet for medicare so we are applying for something else that we may be eligible for. However we do have a lot of paperwork to chase down. So the rest of my day will be working on getting the form filled out and getting the documents dug up. Not my favorite activity but I can deal. My daughter has also decided today is the day to clean the carpet LOL! Of course with the snow melting and creating mud in the backyard I don't hold out much hope for it staying clean very long. But it will be nice to see it in its original state for a few hours at least. Her dogs are the ones that track the mud in so she can't get mad at anyone for the beautifull orangy red hue her carpet takes on from that lovely red clay mud we have here LOL!

Ben and Sarah are running errands and I'm tucked in bed with all of the dogs piled around, so I'm completely off my routine. The Dr was right; I only thought I was sore and hurting yesterday. Last night it was hard to sleep, but I'm sure it will just get better from here. Being sore, I haven't had much of an appetite, but I have made sure that I'm getting my supplements and some fluids.

I have no idea what we'll do for New Year's. We had planned to go to a friend's party, but that doesn't seem likely. Maybe we'll have a couple of healthy appetizers that focus on protein and pretty, colorful complex carbs.
