Good Morning Everyone!

Hope you all had a good day yesterday.  Mine was better than on Monday.  I was not nearly as HOT yesterday and I really believe it was due to the extra hydration.  I increased my water and drank my protein yesterday and although it was around 105 degrees with the heat index I was not nearly as miserable as everyone else at the office and still needed my socks and throw to keep warm at home last night..

Today I plan to keep my water intake up again but add some cold soft protein meals.

Please keep hydrated and take care of YOU!

Have a GREAT Humpday!

Good Morning!!!! Happy Hump day - that means the weekend is officially in sight.

It's looking like it'll start raining here any minute so I'm planning an indoor walk tonight after I get home with one of the walking DVD's the easter bunny brought me. (yep - it's still in the cellophane) Has anybody used one of these programs before? Thought it might be something different during the really hot months and super cold days too.

I left some chicken marinating in greek yogurt this morning (Nik on the RNY forum had posted the recipe for Thai Chicken) - the last time I made it it was super, duper moist. So of course I called my boys to see if they want to eat with me. Now what was I thinking - teenagers and free food - HA - they'll be there at 7 and what else was I making. Looks like I'll be cooking when I get home.

Carrie - the cold protein meals that you mentioned - I have a suggestion - Shrimp salad. Use your favorite chicken salad recipe except sub out the chicken for chopped steamed shrimp. YUMMY. Also works well with the imitation crab.

Have a great day.

Thanks for the suggestions, Iris.  I do a lot of imitation crab in my tossed salads but never thought to do a chicken type salad with the crab and/or shrimp.  I think a trip to the store is in order for both the grapes (an earlier recipe that you posted) and the seafood.

I am actually a little too cool in the office this morning, but we will see what this afternoon brings.

We had our thunder storms earlier this morning and now the sun is out and shining!

Have a FANTASTIC time tonight.

Good morning NC,
I am up and getting ready to place my avon orders off today.
The other day I delevered 20 avon books plus went grocery shopping unloaded the car and cooked dinner.
Yeap it is hot these days but I am also noticing it isnt bothering me like it has before.
On Sunday while walking into Target I noticed it was going to be really hot that day was but I was grateful to be working inside.
Sunday I handed out 500 string cheese sticks to guest at Target and I was set up right at the entrance which ment I had to greet 500 people and welcome them to Target LOL
I really enjoyed doing this but keeping in mind there were many years I was so ashamed of myself.
Now I can smile and welcome people.
Everyone really loved getting a full size cheese stick.
This Saturday I will be cooking hot dogs I am sure that will be a high volume event also.
I can do it and that makes me happy.
Yesterday OMG my friend and I went to PF Changs for lunch OMG those chicken lettuce wraps with the sauce the waiter made blew me away totally they were wonderful and as always had plenty to have later on in the day yesterday.
I am keeping up with my fluid intake and even drinking much more than the magical 64 ounces.
BTW I have demoed Sobe water and they have several 0 calorie ones that are pretty good and sweetend with Stevia (sp).
