Wednesday Check-in
Hope everyone had a nice day yesterday.
After today we will be on the down-slide to the weekend! It just can not get here fast enough for me, let me tell you.
I spent the evening out in my lawn again last evening and still have a little more to mow. I have been spending just over an hour each evening for the last 2 nights. My FitWear has only been recording it as a little over 30 minutes of light to medium activity. I think I need to get moving a little faster and get my heartbeat up. Although I have an incline, I must be too deliberate in my mowing.
We cooked out on our new gas grill last night and I had some of the yummiest grilled bell peppers, vadelia onions and yellow squash. I marinated the sliced vegetables in fresh made Seven Seasons salad dressing, made with more vinegar than olive oil. Talk about heaven. I love fresh vegetables and they were some of the best.
Today is more catch-up with paperwork at the office. I am hoping to find the top of my desk before I leave the office today.
Hope you all have a FANTASTIC Wednesday!
Audra,
Congratulations on making getting to such a significant milestone.
Wishing you continued success!

Yesterday I spent most of the day moving my sizable kitchen from the old house into the modest kitchen at the new house. I still have a long way to go, but we're getting there. I got so busy doing that, yard work and laundry that I absolutely blanked out and forgot about my Beck Group support group meeting last night. Thank goodness Gail T had my cell number and gave me a call. I felt like an idiot, but I dashed out and got there as soon as I could and I'm so glad I went. It helped in lots of ways. It always helps to get out and among friends, even when I'm exhausted, but more than that, it helps me to help someone else. While I think the meeting helped the others that attended, I KNOW that they helped me and I can't tell you how much the support and friendship have come to mean to me.
We talked about self sabotaging behaviors and ways to get back on track. While this is so relevant to my weight loss journey, I find it is relevant in so many other areas of my life as well. It all seems to be interconnected and related for me.
We also talked about getting back on track after faltering. I shared that biggest factor in my success is I have found that I need to be aware and accountable. I know that everyone needs to find the best ways to develop awareness and accountability; there is no one size fits all solution, but I think with awareness and accountability, we all can and will succeed in this journey.
I hope all are having a good day.
