Tuesday check-in
Good Morning Everyone!
Hope you all had a good day yesterday.
My day went well. The temps. were about 10 degrees cooler then this weekend, so I was able to mow some grass after work. That is my kind of cardio, productive exercise. Hopefully I will be able to finish the mowing tonight and then trim and sweep up on Wednesday after work. I have decided to try and get more of my chores done after work during the week and then I will have more time for the fun things on the weekend.
Today will be another day of paperwork at the office. I was pleasantly interrupted by clients all day yesterday, so I was not able to even put a dent in my many piles of paperwork.
Have a Wonderful Tuesday!
Then while I was trying to cook dinner I got a call from the girl *****nts my Mom's house (I'm the unofficial landlord) because a guy that rents my house (next door to hers) his pitbull had gotten out and bit her cousin's child - OMG the drama. The guy had been told to get rid of the dog or leave by the weekend already.Tensions were high last night----then David had to cross a very fine line with me and throw out the "I told you so" comment. Stay tuned cause I'm really not sure how this mess will turn out.
I feel like I've been through the wringer this morning. Oscar the Pouch does not like stress so he's grumbling at anything other than liquids. hmmmmmm....I guess I'll baby the pouch today for as long as need be actually. I've got my vitamins in this morning. Really not sure what the meal plan will look like.
Hope it gets better soon.

(((Iris))),
I'm so sorry to hear of the distresses and hope that the child will be okay. I know that personally, I have a hard time physically when stres****s me and I feel like I've been living in a virtual pressure cooker for months. While my pouch seems ok with whatever I want to eat, my intestinal tract either goes on strike or haywire when I'm under a lot of stress.
I hope that things work out okay with the renters and everything else calms down soon too.

Carrie...
Did you know that 42 percent of people actually report that, they too, enjoy mowing the lawn. If part of our lawn wasn't vertical, I might enjoy it more, but I must admit that there is a since of satisfaction seeing the freshly mowed lawn and it is a great workout!
Like you, I was definitely enjoying the much cooler/drier whether. I commented to Sarah that it reminded me so much of the weather at home in the SF Bay Area.
Well, I'm off to pack, load, uload, unpack, and then do it again.
Have a great day!

I agree about the cardio component. The new house has about a 50 degree slope over about 30 feet and I not only get cardio, but quite a strength workout as I try to wrestle the darn lawnmower across it. It also is not 'grassy' enough so the wheels spin and slip a lot. I'm trying to figure out a better way to manage it, but it's not high on the list right now. I may see about getting my 'workout' on the flatter parts of our yard and leave the lawn mower wrangling to Ben because otherwise, I may get hurt. We'll see.
I hope you are enjoying the beautiful day.
Hugs,

I am also going to OMG sleevless Lee says I look good when my arms are down.
I am at a point where I have worked very hard to get where I am and I want to not be embarrased any more.
On Friday I have been invited to a luncheon for Avon reps who are close to making Presidents club
so my district manager ask me and anoth rep to come to the lunch.
The lunch is in Fayetteville which means I have to drive by myself OMG stressing out over this but I need to do this for me.
Lee is being very encouraging for me to do this.
I even order a new top from cold water creek to wear OMG and still ordered a 3x old habits die hard.
Other than that I feel good and cant wait to feel that freedom of sleevless .

I dont want to cover up anymore
We took our daughter to weight loss camp in the mountains this past Sunday. It was much harder than I expected. I had a very heavy heart knowing I taught her these bad eating habits, but I am happy to look to the future. My sweet girl was very excited about the opportunity but she even got a little teary eyed when it was time to leave her. I think the hardest part now is just wondering how she is doing? how she is feeling? how she is doing with the new eating and activities. I also will not be able to speak to her for a loooong week. They are posting pictures for us parents to see, so I am happy to see my babies face. This weight battle sucks for the normal adult, but for a 12 year old it must be soooooo much more intense. Please keep her in your prayers. I know God has her in the palm of his hand, I just pray this is a changing time in her life.
I will unfortunatly miss the up coming support meeting, because I will be starting my summer travels. I will miss seeing and meeting everyone.
Hope all is well with the Carolinains. Have a wonderful week and enjoy the beautiful weather.
