Lets Play!!!

Last week's questions brought out a few new folks and some old timers as well. Since we all seemed to enjoy them here's a few more for this week.....

• What's your favorite food?

• What's your favorite food? Seafood & anything Mexican - both work well for life Post op.
• Tell me about a favorite event of your adulthood. It's directly related to having had Gastric Bypass ----Meeting David !!!!! I would never have had the confidence to start dating again if it hadn't have been for my surgery. He's the bomb diggity and I tell him so.
• What do you think you will be doing five years from now? I'd like to think that I've finished my Bachelors Degree and Masters and would be int he midst of a chaplancy internship at a local hospital.
• Would you rather take pictures or be in pictures? Old habits die hard - I'd still rather take the pictures but I don't cringe now thinking about how they'll turn out.
• Are you a beach, country, mountain or city person? Most definetly a Beacher - or as my kids call us "dune billies" but I was raised on a 60 acre farm when I wasn't on my Dad's shrimp boat and every vacation we ever took was to the mountains. So I guess I've pretty much got a little bit of all of the places in my blood.

• What's your favorite food? I absolutely love chinese food/sushi
• Tell me about a favorite event of your adulthood. Would definitely have to be the adooption of my 3 babies ;)
• What do you think you will be doing five years from now? I pray leading a healther/happier life along with my family in our little house! Sweet & Simple :)
• Would you rather take pictures or be in pictures? Would love to take some photography classes!! I already take what seems like millions of pics of children. Maybe a good WL goal gist would be a digital SLR
• Are you a beach, country, mountain or city person? Depends--Live in = City girl all the way! Vacation in = Beach 24/7!! Fall retreat = cabin in the mountains!! LOL

Haven't been on in a while and it looks like I missed something.  I like these kinds of things!

• What's your favorite food? has to be the chicken crockpot taco stuff that I got from here
• Tell me about a favorite event of your adulthood. I think that would have to be the party that my mom and dad threw for me after getting my National Boards and Masters degree.
• What do you think you will be doing five years from now? the exact same thing I'm doing now - teaching, being wife and mom.
• Would you rather take pictures or be in pictures? now be in pictures - wasn't always that way!
• Are you a beach, country, mountain or city person? depends on which day you ask...I love to vacation in the mountains but love to spend a few hours at the beach with my girls.  I love living in the country but would like to visit the city more often.  Does that cover it?

• What's your favorite food? I love Salads. I am pre op so Im sure that will change very soon :)
  
• Tell me about a favorite event of your adulthood.Meeting my husband Steve. :) He is my soul mate
• What do you think you will be doing five years from now?Hopefully living a healthier lifestyle with a better job.
• Would you rather take pictures or be in pictures?I love to take pictures!!!
• Are you a beach, country, mountain or city person?Beach!!

• What's your favorite food? I love Mexican food and Seafood also.
• Tell me about a favorite event of your adulthood. Meeting my husband of 30 years.
• What do you think you will be doing five years from now? The same things I am doing now but with more balance in my life.
• Would you rather take pictures or be in pictures? Neither.  I love to look at photos, but I take aweful photos and still hate to be in them.
• Are you a beach, country, mountain or city person? This is the only place in my life there is complete balance.  I love it all.  I grew up in the country and mountains, now live in the city and love to vacation at the beach and country and mountains.

Extra Sharp Cheddar Cheese! When I was a kid, I used to eat the cracker barrel cheese sticks like candy bars. I think I am in love!

 

·         Tell me about a favorite event of your adulthood

Although it was TOO MUCH attention for me, I would have to say my wedding day!

I married my best friend!

I moved out of my parent’s house (mama’s baby stayed home all that time!)

It was a beautiful day! No rain, sunny, cool breeze.

Mommy even behaved herself! (She is a bit of an attention hog)

 

·         What do you think you will be doing five years from now?

 

What I THINK I will be doing?

Still gaining and losing these 7 FREAKIN Pounds!

 

What I would LIKE to be doing? Any of these will suit me just fine:

Teaching at our church’s Christian school

Being a stay at home mom

Managing a funeral home

Working for the SBI collecting crime scene evidence

Being a farmer

 

·         Would you rather take pictures or be in pictures?

Take them although I am not very good at it. I look better when I am not in them!

 

·         Are you a beach, country, mountain, or city person?

When I see a bug…city girl (I have seen the BIGGEST, WEIRDEST BUGS since moving to NC)

When I hear sirens…country girl (all you hear in the city is sirens)

When it snows….mountain girl (would just love the scenery!)

When it is sunny and 50 degrees…beach girl (I cannot get enough of Myrtle Beach!)

 

 

 

• What's your favorite food? anything chinese!!
• Tell me about a favorite event of your adulthood. Probably the birth of my niece.  She is 6 now and the light of my life.  Her mom is not around and my parents adopted her so she probably gets a little spoiled.
  
• What do you think you will be doing five years from now? I hope I'm a mom. I still want to be working at the same place.
  
• Would you rather take pictures or be in pictures?  Take them for sure.  Hopefully one day I won't be so camera-phobic.
  
• Are you a beach, country, mountain or city person? Mountain!!! I like to LOOK at the beach, but I still hate bathing suits and sand and heat!

 Here we go.....

• What's your favorite food? OREOS (bad I know), chips and dip, and Mexican food
• Tell me about a favorite event of your adulthood. My wedding... it was a wonderful and relaxing time and I still think about how much fun it was to plan and the entire event. My Lapband is a close second
• What do you think you will be doing five years from now? chasing around a kid or two. hoping to have one within the next year or so
• Would you rather take pictures or be in pictures? take them! I can always tell as I have thousands of them and am not in very many as I am always behind the camera!
• Are you a beach, country, mountain or city person? Beach, i am not big on sand, but i love the atmosphere of a beach town...

• What's your favorite food?

Definitely Asian cuisine...love sushi.

• Tell me about a favorite event of your adulthood.

Seeing my sister graduate from college.

• What do you think you will be doing five years from now?

Not sure, hopefuly running my own coffee shop or if I am still with my current employer, something in management.

• Would you rather take pictures or be in pictures?

I love my camera. Using it that is. I'm happily the guy taking photos.

• Are you a beach, country, mountain or city person?

Coming from Balimore MD and then living in a place like Lenoir is definitely different. I love the city, so much to see and do but at night I like being in the country where I can see the stars. Beaches and Mountains, despite living in the foothills, are vacation destinations for me.
