Dr. Moran's office- Where'd everyone go?

I had lapband with Dr Moran in October.  Everything has gone great, but the team I worked with to go through surgery and everything post op is all gone... first it was the nurse, who I really liked, now it appears the PA (Katie) is gone and so is the office manager (Joann).  Anyone know what's going on over there?

 Uh oh, I would love to know. I am transferring to Dr. Moran...

I only went to an information meeting with him, and I was not impressed. I litterally laughed out loud at some of his answers. I wanted to tell him I was a nurse and give him a chance to change his answers ha ha. Anyway maybe his staff sees how bad he is. Might want to reconsider.

I was very happy with Dr Moran as a surgeon, he's not the most friendly, but his track record with WLS was all I cared about.  

I went in for a check up this week and asked what happened to Katie and they said she just wanted to do something different, but she still fills in from time to time.  I can understand serving the exact same types of patients doing the exact same thing could get kind of tiring.  

I like the new nurse and the new PA (Julie) they seem very nice and were very encouraging.  

I had RNY by Dr. Moran in October.  I loved Janell (nurse). I only met Dr. Moran during consultation and of course while in hospital. Katie was my go-to person and I loved her.  Joann was really nice and helpful.  Makes me kinda of scared to go back since I don't know anyone there any more.  I've lost 82 lbs so far.  Going through a stall presently.

I go in once a month with lapband, been twice since Katie left and haven't needed a fill, but I think I might need one in 2 weeks.. portions seemed to be getting larger again... we'll see how it goes, katie was so smooth with it.  But like you, I only saw Dr Moran at final consultation and day of surgery, but I loved the staff so that didn't matter to me.  

My understanding is that they are away (at least Joann) helping to open a new office. I was told the other week when I was in there that she should be back in the Blue Ridge office shortly.
