Good Morning Everyone!  Happy Friday.

It's Friday!  It's Friday!  It's Friday!

It is a Friday, the start of a long weekend for me and payday.  Could it be any better?!

Can you tell that I am beside myself with joy!

I am so excited to have the time off, that it really does not matter to me that it will probably rain all weekend.  I am so excited to have the time off, that it really does not matter that the last work day of the month is always the most frustrating for me.   I might have +8 hours of frustration, but then I get 3 days of down time.

I really do not have anything planned for this weekend.  We will not be traveling anywhere. I do have a pedicure scheduled tomorrow so there will be some pampering this weekend but other than that it will probably just be the usual weekend chores.

What are your plans?  Come on in, share your plans.  Make me envious, come on.  I dare you.

Please be keep safe and have a WONDERFUL, JOYOUS Weekend.

Keep in mind the reason we are celebrating this weekend and remember those who gave themselves so that we can continue to enjoy our FREEDOM.

Keep our military in your thoughts. My hubby is an Army reservist. He was honorably discharged before having to serve active duty, which really disappointed him. These men and women serve voluntarily out of a love and passion for our country! Just as our teachers, law enforcement, and firefighters (and some other professions), they are underpaid for the service they provide and everyday freedoms we take for granted. I remember when my hubby had to go away for 2 weeks training. I cried everyday! He was stateside and just in training. I cannot imagine if he had to go off to war! I signed up to be an Army wife as I knew when I met him there was a possibility he may have to serve. I am thankful he did not, so I pray daily for those who are serving, even in peacekeeping missions, as not all of them have their immediate or extended families with them. Their families are courageous and face many daily struggles.

Ok back to me…Carrie started it….

Another meeting-less day, so certification studies and documentation updates   are on the agenda for the day. Hoping to leave a little early just because! No plans this weekend ON PURPOSE…We have plans for the next (4) weekends so I am looking forward to doing nothing, but you know I will be doing something. If I could just sit still! I think the porch swing needs some attention…like me swinging in it!

I know hubby wants to grill some steaks so bring it on Fire Marshall Bill (watch out when he gets near charcoal and lighter fluid!)

I hope everyone has a blessed weekend!

If I am gonna eat   like a fat girl, then I gotta workout   like a skinny girl!

WOO HOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just as excited as yall are - and I have no plans either. Today will be a long, long day. No chance of getting off early so the count down to 5 o'clock officially started when I crawled out of bed this morning.

One of David's sisters is coming down tomorrow to spend the weekend with us. I can't wait. I haven't seen her since Thanksgiving. She's so laid back and we'll probably end up hunting through some of the smaller, artsy shops over on the Outer Banks. I don't plan on buying anything but it's still lots of fun. I see either Star Bucks or Tropical Smoothie on the agenda as well.

I too am very thankful for our Service Men & Women - past, present and future. They and their families deserve our respect and admiration. In honor of David's Coast Guard service - "Semper Paratus" (always ready).

Good morning, Everyone!!!
I haven't posted much lately, but have lurked     every now and then... after all... i do have to keep an eye on you guys... make sure you behaving!!!    (yeah, like that's gonna happen!)

I also will be working today, but taking off this afternoon to head to our cabin.  It's in Meadows of Dan, VA just off of the Blue Ridge Parkway... Beautiful there!  My plans are to sit on the porch and read...  I've already made sure hubby understands there will be no cooking/no cleaning... just pure lazing around!!! With maybe a little hot tub this evening.
Yep.... getting into the hot tub will be the most work i'm gonna do all weekend!!!  Unlike Val,  I do lazy very, very well! Can't wait to get started.

Good Morning All,

We don't have huge plans for the weekend. Ben is going to see if he can get the grill converted and fire it up this weekend. If so, I'll be one happy camper. I love grilled dinners, low cal, tasty and less clean up. What could be better? I have some fresh corn, tomatoes and chicken that are just itching for the grill.

We are pet sitting a couple of dogs over the next few days, so we'll have a full house. One of mine is deathly afraid of thunder storms, so I know I'll have him shivering next to me over the next few evenings.

While we will continue some with moving and unpacking, I think we will try to lighten the load a bit over the holiday and spend a little time recouping before we get back to all of the moving work.

I'll be thinking of my father, father-in-law, brother, nephew and so many who serve as we celebrate Memorial Day. I think we often take for granted all that they do for us and what it means to our daily lives.

I hope everyone has a safe and lovely holiday.
