Good Morning Everyone!

Hope you all had a great day yesterday, for a Monday anyway.  Mine was uneventful, just as I wished.

Today is predicted as another dreary day.  My grass is green, so come on now, I am more than ready for some sunshine again.

I have 2 company rep meetings scheduled for today so I will not have much control over my time today.  But you know, I don't believe it so bothersome anymore (who would have thunk!?).

I know that nothing above sounds very exciting, but you know, I kinda like it!  No drama.

Have a FANTASTIC Tuesday!

A dramaless day is something to be thankful for. Not alot planned over in this part of the state either.

The Outer Banks Support group is going to be meeting tonight at the Currituck County Library in Barco at 7 pm. Jen has lined up a speaker from one of the Tidewater Virginia area bariatric surgeons.

Today's goal is still to focus on upping the fiber, gettting in my water and increasing the exercise. hmmmm.....sounds like my new mantra........

chanting....................Fiber, water, exercise...............Fiber, water, exercise...........fiber, water, exercise.......Fiber, water, exercise......fiber, water, exercise............

The eating plan looks like this:

Breakfast - Raisin Bran Muffin
snack - Wheat Thins Fiber Select Crackers & a string cheese
Lunch - Tuna Salad, sliced tomatoes & 1/2 a gala apple
snack - the other 1/2 of the gala apple & some protein (?? greek yogurt w. splenda brown sugar)
Dinner - Homemade Chicken & Wild Rice stoup

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Hi All,

As you can see, I'm a little late to the party and from what I can see from the views vs. posts, we have a lot of 'wall flowers' or lurkers lately. Come on out and join the party. We'd love to hear from you and get to know you; it doesn't have to be a long, drawn out post, just a quick note to say hi and let us know how you are doing from a WLS perspective or otherwise.... Okay, I'll step off of my soap box, but I don't hope you'll join in.

We are still busy moving and cleaning. We are either very clean or very dirty and I know that we had WAY TOO MUCH STUFF and sorting through it all is exhausting. We are still struggling a bit to have 'normal' meals at home. Ben worked at the big house until 9pm last night, so Sarah and I had dinner together at the table at the new house and Ben had left overs very late.  At any rate, we are making our way through and I've gotten my weight to stabilize at about 136/137. Ben is holding steady, but his clothes are getting too big; I think he must be exchanging muscle for body fat with all of the lifting and moving he's doing. On top of that Sarah is also trimming down a bit.

I hope that you all are doing well and hope to hear from a few lurkers.... come out, come out, wherever you are... ;-)

School takes up all of my day now during the week and work on the weekend. But I don't mind. I have three flights of stairs to get to my first class in the morning and that is after I walk up quite a hill to get to the building. I remember that I would have done anything including getting to school an hour early to avoid having to park so far away. Now I don't care. I love it. I admit though that I get winded by the third flight of stairs but I am sure that will soon change as I get used to it. I had my first algebra test today and I dare say I did pretty well on it. I should find out tomorrow. My other two classes have me reading a lot so its a good thing I have so much walking in the morning as that is about all the exercise I have time for LOL!
