Grateful...
Every morning I try to start my day with a list of those things for which I am grateful...
* I am grateful for our new home
* I am grateful for being healthier than I have been in decades
* I am grateful for the love and support of friends and family
* I am grateful to have witnessed the blessing of the union our friends in marriage
Please feel free to share your list of gratitude... it can be WLS related or not.

Over the weekend I have decided that I have too much to be thankful for. What a wonderful problem!!
I have the world's greatest family & friends (warts and all as my best friend would say).
I am so thankful for Dr. Mac, his staff & the folks at Pitt Memorial Hospital for the knowledge and know how behind my surgery and follow up care.
I am especially grateful to have found OH and the NC forum especially. Regardless of what goes on in my life I know that there are others out there to share in my journey - surgery related or not. I count all of yall among my family and friends.
Hope yall all have a wonderful & productive day.

Iris,
I think that you have a wonderful problem. Congratulations!! Like you, I am particularly grateful to have found OH and specifically the NC forum. I too believe that it has been and continues to be instrumental in my success, WLS related and otherwise. You are one of the many people that makes it such a nice place.

I have had a headache since Saturday. It has been my body's way of letting go of some stress. I'll share a little in the Monday check-in, but in the meantime, I can flip them so the glass is half full...I am grateful today that....
One of my staff members who fly to India on Thursday evening just responded to me that she is ok and was NOT on the flight that crashed!...
That I am NOT like my dysfunctional family members who are demoralizing my cousin by not honoring her last wishes...
That my Lord has answered another prayer favorably....
That my work load was light today as I completed my Monday tasks on Friday in anticipation of attending my cousins funeral today...
That my loving husband is so loving, caring, and faithful! He really is my BFF!
For my big sister! She emailed me this morning to say hi and tell me something funny. I just told her I loved her!
That my wrists are recovering slowly. They could be broken or totally useless!
For every last pound that the scales says I weight today! The quality of my life is so much better than it was 4 years ago. There are folks in hospitals, nursing homes, and hospices this very minute. I am SO BLESSED!
That my life is full of peace even when I am faced with things that would worry others!
Count those blessing and be grateful!
If I am gonna eat like a fat girl, then I gotta workout like a skinny girl!

:-) I'm grateful for the birth of a beautiful, healthy granddaugher!
:-) I'm grateful that a f ew years ago I had the foresight to start a wedding savings account; even though it will not be enough to pay for everything, it's a great start.
:-) I'm grateful for a loving God, a great job, excellent health, a wonderful family and the best hubby anyone could ask for.
So many blessings... so little time to list them.
Great post!
