Good Morning Everyone!

How are you today?  What are your plans for the day?

I had a WONDERFUL day yesterday.  Nothing exciting happened, I just finally feel more myself.
It just amazes me how much easier it is to deal with your normal daily obstacles when are feeling well.

I am ready to take on this "Humpday" and all it has to offer me today.

Hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!

Glad you are feeling better!

Restricting the carbs has been a good move. I have lost 4 pounds since Friday. That mindless eating will get you every time! I have not totally eliminated the carbs, but I have cut them back dramatically. I just did not realize how carb heavy my meals have been. Hubby is even enjoying the lighter meals. Although he has an active job, he feels his weight during the summer months. He tries so hard to be supportive. I so love him!

One of my cousins passed away on Friday. She is one of my many family members who have homes here and in MD, so I will be on the road sometime near the end of the week. Either to Baltimore or Littleton (near Roanoke Rapids).

Unfortunately, funerals are our only family reunion these days, so I will see some folks I have not seen in a while. The attention I get from my family (and in general) can be overwhelming as I am NOT an attention girl. It will be good to see my extended family, but deflecting the attention can get stressful.

The Farmers Market is open today downtown, so I will take an early break to get some veggies and fruit.

I have new projects at work so it is busy juggling (7) active projects. I am thankful for my job, so I am off to get some work done.

Have a great day!

If I am gonna eat   like a fat girl, then I gotta workout   like a skinny girl!

Valerie,

I'm glad to hear that getting that carb monster under control is working for you. I think you are so right about the fact you don't need to banish carbs, but we just need to get them in balance and when they aren't, we tend to have trouble managing our weight. Keep up the good work! I'm sure that your trip to farmer's market will help.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss.
