Hey All!

Just a quick note to say hello.

We are busy sorting through 'stuff'... OMG, it's just amazing how much 'stuff' you can accumulate in more than 30 years of marriage and then we also have my mom's stuff and my grand mother's stuff. I think we could probably make a job out of sorting through it all. But for now, just one thing at a time.

I had a quick breakfast of whole wheat sour dough toast, ham, egg and cheese. It was a small sandwich, but I still only got about 1/3 of it down. Oh well. At least, I'm working on it.

I'm having lunch with a dear friend I haven't seen in months. She had her own WLS in Feb of 09 and I haven't seen her since the holidays, so I'll bet I'll be seeing much less of her than I did the last time we got together.

I'll be doing dinner with plenty of vegi's some protein and just a bit of cheese ravioli's... mmmm...

Well, I'd better get my tail in gear so that I can get over to meet my friend.

Have a great day!

Went to see my therapist this morning.
Went by HT and found two kinds of Tempa(sp) I bought the soy and the 3 grain.
Came home made a salad with some of the tempa,a few chilled asparagus, sunflower seeds and balsimic dressing spray.
Now getting ready to start cleaning the house.
For dinner I am having pasta sauce with some ground turkey sausage added to it and two fresh bell peppers and onions and fresh mushooms.
I am uping the veggies instead of the meat.
I never have pasta only of rare occassions and even then a small amount.

I have been using these Lock Box containers I got from HT and now have seen them at Walmart.
I keep them filled with lunch meat, cheese, lentels, whole grain pilaf, celery and spinach and lettuce.
I have a varity of items but healthy.
Also have lots of soups in my pantry.
I enjoy getting my boxes out and creating small healthy meals.
