I pray that you and your family smile, laugh and dance with the memories you share among you. I know that God will send your mother's voice in the whispers of the wind and her smile in the rays of the sun. Peace be with you.

Lisa,

Thank you for your lovely sentiments... Of course there are difficult days ahead as we plan and execute the funeral and move through the process of her estate, but I spent the day with some loving, supportive family that are helping to heal the wounds and allow the sunshine to come through the clouds as I look for the peace I long for.

Thanks again,

I'm so sorry to hear that. There aren't really appropriate words.

I remember when I first joined quite some time ago, you were so helpful. I wish I could be of more help, but all I know how to do is mouth platitudes, and I'm sure you've heard them all by now.

Thank you for your kindness. It is appreciated. Sometimes just knowing that others care when you are hurting is enough.

It is not the magnitude of our actions but the amount of love that is put into them that matters.

Jackie,

In my experience, giving someone the gift of hospice is one of the most loving gifts you may ever bestow. It is not an easy gift, but a truly meaningful one.

G-d  bless you and those you love as you travel the road ahead.
