What a MESS!!!!

Hello OH friends!

I have been MIA for a while, lots going on!  I am doing great with my eating and weight loss. I am excited to see Katrina the Diet/Nut on Wednesday to get some ideas about meals ect.  I was out of town this weekend and did really well on the choices. I even had salad!  I hope it is not too early but it sat better in my "tiny tummy" than chicken does!
On to the reason I posted.....my house is a MESS!!!!  I knew this day would come but I did not expect to hit me in the face!I have been so blah for so long when I start feeling better I realize how I had let my house go.  Being away for a few days put things in perspective.  The place I stayed did not have clutter, "stuff" sitting around, clothes piled on top of things, mail to be gone through on the counter and I could go on and on.  Well, today I am getting started on cleaning.  The first thing I am going to do is take clothes out of the closet I can't wear anymore. That way I can make room for the clothes laying around.  Then I am will work on the "stuff" just sitting around. I think I may take a large container and put everything in it and sort through it a little at the time.  I guess the Spring Cleaning bug ha****!!!

Thanks for letting me vent. Hope everyone has a great evening!!

Hey Phyllis,

Congrats on doing so well and having the energy for a major spring cleaning. As long as your nutritionist says that salads are okay, then go for it, but be sure to add some protein. You could add some cottage cheese or beans to help you get in the protein that so important to your recovery.

Wishing you continued success,

Barbara

Hi Phyllis,
There was a time it was almost impossible for me to clean my house so I usally paid someone to help me.
Now I can do it all in a couple of hours.
I have 6 boxes in my hallway ready to go to the PTA.
My closet needs going through too and I am just so happy I can do it.
