Tuesday check-in

Last night I made grilled chicken breasts with Barilla's Penne protein pasta, baby carrots sauteed with red onions, asparagus spears sauteed with onions and balsalmic vinegar, along with tomatoes dressed with basil, onions, parmesean and balsalmic vinegar. 

The past week or so has been been hard to say the least, but yesterday SUCKED big time! I was just about ready to throw in the towel and hop on the next flight to Raleigh.

Today, I've been feeling the after effects of that difficult day and had a couple of major crying jags. Tonight I am making halibut fish tacos with a cabbage slaw, guacamole, black beans and a tomato salsa.  I'm hoping tonight will be quiet and calm. I don't want anymore drama and I hope nobody 'drops by' tonight.
