Good Morning Everyone!

How was your day yesterday?  What are your plans for today?  Come on in and share with us, feel free to just ramble (You all know I do!)

Yesterday was very busy, as usual.  I find I am able to deal whatever comes my way with a lot let stress than I have felt in months.  I have been making a point of going up and down the stair several times a day just to add cardio to my day.

Today will start out with a visit to my PCP for my annual blood work and physical.  My orders look like there will be a lot of blood taken this time.  The blood work is for my 3 year surgiversary visit later this month with my surgeon.  Time has really been flying since I have been living life instead of watching it pass by.

After my doctors visit I will make sure to get in some coffee w/protein to get my pouch working again.  I need the coffee and Ms. Picky needs the protein or we will both pay for neglect for the rest of the day.

Wishing you each a WONDERFUL Thursday!

Yesterday was not fun at our house! Both my son and I had a bad stomach virus. Feeling much better today. Today we are on a two hour delay. Which means I get to sleep in and play on OH. Fun-Fun!

This afternoon have to run by the church and turn the heat on. We are having a fundraiser for our youth....a soup and sandwich supper. Last time it was a huge success. Anybody near or around Duplin County don't want to cook tonight..join us at Hallsville Presbyterian Church at 6:30. $5 a person. Homemade soups and sandwiches. All money raised go toward our youth programs.

Husband and I have to play tag team. We also have a BETA meeting, a baseball coach meeting and Callie has dance. BUSY BUSY.

My 3 month check up is on Monday... a little nervous. Hope he will be happy with me guess we will see. Just told my husband I am 20lbs from my goal. Not sure about doctors goal he hasn't given me one. I feel a lot better but weightloss has definately slowed. Average .6 lbs a week. Something is better than nothing. Danielle

 Good morning everyone!!

The sun is shining and even though it's still cold, puts a smile on my face.  Today is gonna be a busy busy day but I'm thankful I can do busy now.  A year ago, there was no way I could hold out to do what I do now.  I have my therapy appt. this morning then off to work.  My boss & I are working on a planned budget for this year (yeah we're a little late) but I dread it.  I do love working in accounting, love the challenge of numbers, etc., but this budget stuff is SO detailed.  Anyway, it'll all work out and I'm SOOOOO thankful I can hold out to do this now.  God is good.  After work is grocery shopping.  If I don't stop at that grocery store I think everyone in my house including my 2 little dogs, are gonna move out. We're out of everything....LOL.  So, it's off to shower & dress for my day.  Carrie, I'm gonna do the coffee/protein instead of my eggs this morning.  I'm sure "Lucy" will enjoy that choice.

Everyone have a great day and enjoy the sunshine.

QUICK -------------Everybody run outside and look up into the sky--------------Did ya see it? That gorgeous golden orb!!!!!! Ahhhhhh SUNSHINE......I feel so much better, happier, saner, balanced and just plain out wonderful.

I have got to do housework tonight. I think David is playing poker with his buddies so I plan on putting on my sweatpants, cranking up the stereo and getting with the program when I get home tonight. We've got 2 different family dinner this weekend so I may even get a jump on my cooking for those.

I feel invincible today. I AM SUPERWOMAN watch me soar.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Things have been going better. I have been able to eat and take supplements for 13 days straight for the first time, but I am getting tight again. So, back to the hospital tommorrow for my fifth dilation. I keep hoping this will be the last. I am down 73 pounds since three weeks pre-op RNY 12/14/09 but i am scared I am loosing to fast and will continue if we can not get my stomach opening to stay open. I only have about 30 more pounds to loose.
I know loosing to fast is a rare complaint or worry but it is entering my mind. I am trying to stay positive and not start crying again but after talking to my mom I am not doing so well. She is very concerned at this point so she makes me worry more. I love her to death and I know she is just worried because I am her baby.

I hope all goes well for my fifth time tommorrow, I will let you know. I do enjoy planning my food the weekend after the procedure because eating is how it suppose to be.

Have a great weekend all,
Audra

Hi Audra,

When I was first losing, I thought I was losing too slowly. When I got close to goal, I was also concerned that I couldn't/wouldn't stop losing. To be honest, my weight did drop about 8 to 10 lbs lower than I was comfortable with... I was still within the lower ranges of a normal BMI. Eventually, my weight stabilized and I've had some fluxuations in my weight, but I'm staying within a normal BMI. Right now, my weight is on the lower end of where I'm comfortable with it because, I'm going through a great deal of stress and instead of 'eating' my stress, I'm not eating as much as I should. It is likely that your weight will drop a little low and that your weight will also rebound a bit.

Hang in there,

Good morning Everyone!!!

Haven't been here in a while... vacation & work just took all my time.  But i'm going to try to get back on track!!!  Gained 3 lbs in the Bahamas!!!  Not good, but i think pre-surgery i probably would have gained about 10!!!

Today I'll start back eating right. I started excercising again yesterday when i met with my trainer, so i'm moving forward.  Geesh... these last 10 lbs are just killing me.

I want to run something past you guys... see how you feel.... Would anyone be interested in joining in the Avon walk for the cure... it' in October in Charlotte, NC.  I'm going  to do a seperate post to see if anyone else is interestd... probably tomorrow... but thought i would get a feel to see if anyone else would be interested... it's 39 miles over 2 days... so we would certainly have to train for it!!!  Let me know your thoughts!!!

Hi Judy,

I'm sure you'll get those few pounds off quickly.

Re: the Walk for the Cure... I'd be interested and it might be something we can work as a group through the support group if you want to do that.

Great to see you again!

Hugs,

Barbara
