Today

Surgery was last Wednesday and today was my first okay day.  Think I am finally on the mend.  My surgery complications had to do with a Fundoplication surgery I had for Acid Reflux 9 years ago.  They tried laproscopic for over an hour and it didn't work so they ended up cutting me open. The surgery ended up taking almost 5 hours.   I have no idea how many stiches I have but they are from chest to my navel.  So reuperation time is taking me a little longer but I still think it will be worth it in the long run.

Wow - I'm sorry that you weren't able to go the laparascopic route, but it sounds like you are on the mend and regardless are on the losers' bench now.  YEAH!!!  Take care of yourself and take it easy.

I am sorry to hear that you had some complications but I agree with you.  You will not regret this I am sure.  I hope you have a quick and uneventful recovery period.  good luck and congrats!
