Good Morning Everyone!

How was your day yesterday?  What are your plans for today?  Come on in and share with us.  Please feel free to just ramble away.

I want to thank you all for sharing with me yesterday.  Even when I don't get a chance to come back during the day, I do read every reply.  I love hearing from each and everyone of you.

Last night I ended up in bed very early due to a slice of sweet potato pie that was made just for me.  Unfortunately I can not tolerate the Splenda Blend for baking.  Fortunately for me there was only just enough sugar to make me sleepy and not enough to make me sick.  My well meaning friend did not realize that the Splenda blend would have enough sugar to ill.  My body does not tolerate sugar.  For that I am grateful.

We had just a dusting of snow during the night.  It is pretty this early in the morning.  Hope the sun decides to make an appearance today.

I am looking forward to the warm, sunny weekend that is predicted for area.  I hate the cold weather and love the warm sunny days of Spring.

Hope you all have a WONDERFUL Wednesday!

Good morning everyone!!

Well...this weather is something else.  Wow!!  Thank you Lord I my daughter & I don't have to get  out in it so early today.  School called and there's a 2 hour delay.  I don't have to leave for wor****il 10 this morning so hopefully by then, this wind will have died down some.

Yesterday was a great day.  I stayed on my plan,  not venturing off one bit.  I'm 11 months out so lately I've been "too big for my britches" and allowing myself a few extra calories here & there.  That has slowed, not stopped, my loss and I've got another 55 lbs. to loose so I need to stop this insanity.   It'll happen because I'm so determined for it to.

Today I'm up with my coffee, meds, and laptop with some relaxing time before jumping in the shower & dressing for my day.  Bank reconciliations on my list today as well as paying some company bills.  All in a days work and I'm thankful I have a job!!

I hope everyone has a fantabalous day.

My hump day is coming to an end.. I had a busy day today, worked out..
took a nap (lol) then I coach youth 6 soccer for my son. so we ran them kiddos hard..
ITs amazing, we started my son out at the age of 4 playing soccer. I would be the assistant coach,     the huge FAT assistant coach.  The one who didn't really run to much..
Today i was all over the field running, kicking, just enjoying being a coach to 12 little kids.. :c)
i love my RNY, i love that i've lost the weight i have..  i love i reagained my life back.
I have seen how crazy the weather is there in NC. I do not miss winter at all...

Hi all.  It's been a while since I've posted here.  My week has been a little hectic.  I am in charge of the behavior program at my school and this week, as a fundraiser, we've been doing a different thing each day centered around Dr. Seuss.  Monday was hat day (kids pay a $1 to wear a hat) and we read The Cat in the Hat.  Yesterday was pj day and today is favorite storybook character(I will be Thing 2 while a coworker will be Thing 1).  We also have a 2hr delay today which is might nice.

I have been hitting the carbs wayyyyy too much lately and the scales are showing it.  I am between 146-147 and want to be at 145 or below.  I'm also eating more than I would like.   I really need to get on here more often since I seem to do better when encouraged by people in similar situations.

At least with the 2 hr delay I will have time to make breakfast and eat it.  Eggs!!!  My sister found these wraps that have 71 cals, 2g fat, 5g Total Carb, 12g fiber, and 8g protein!  It's Ole Etreme Wellness High Fiber Low Carb Tortilla Wraps.  They are so good but haven't seen them around here.  She lives in Richmond so she has more access to all things healthy and unhealthy.  I have been cooking an egg with onion, mushroom and cheese and putting it in one of those.  Soo good!  So I have a great protein filled start to my day.

Have a great day everyone!

That egg wrap sounds soooo YUMMO!  I really have a hard time with wraps, bread and flour products, even the low carb ones.  Ms. Picky loves eggs anyway you make them.  I should make them more often.  Thanks for reminding me.

My favorite way to make eggs right now is to cook some onion, fresh mushroom, and pepper in a little olive oil (or pam) then pour in an egg or a little egg beaters then put a little cheese on just til it melts.  I love the veggies in it (especially the mushrooms - they have become a favorite in almost everything!).

I haven't been posting much.   Life is busy.   Things are going well.  Still trying to find that "sweet spot" where I am not losing but not gaining either.  I would like to maintain my present weight.  How odd is that?  When is the last time I could say that?  Too long ago to remember.  Anyway, I decided to eat breakfast instead of drink it this morning.  I usually just have a protein shake for breakfast.  Today I made a one egg (with one egg white) omlette with tomato, onion, cilantro, peppers and light shredded cheese.  I ate part of it at 6am and then the rest of it at 9am.  Boy was that tasty.  I don't think I could do it everyday.  Eggs will make me sick if I eat them too often but it was good.  Maybe tomorrow I will do oatmeal or yogurt or something.  hmmm
I have lost a total of 183 lbs.  I weight in my mid to high120s now.   Crazy hard to believe.  Just 15 months ago I was over 300lbs.  Best thing I ever did.  I just wish I had done it sooner.
Okay enough rambling.  This month my husband and I are going to Disney World for the week of my birthday.  I will be 52 yrs old.  Ack!  But I feel better this year than I have in years.  I can't wait.  Going with no kids!  This will be fun.
My body does not define who I am but I am trying to define my body.  It  gets easier with every pound I drop.
