Revision surgery after lapband in Mexico
I had my lapband done in Mexico in 2007 and have not had good results, it is either so loose I can eat anything or so tight I throw up everything. I am looking to get either RNY or gastric sleeve by someone locally (different insurance that will now cover surgery). Has anyone been in this situation and found a surgeon locally who would do it?

Hi,
I am so lousy at this system so hopefully you will see this response. I know of two people I met in support group at Durham Regional who had a lapband placed in Mexico for cost reasons. Dr Demaria converted both of them to roux en y. I don't know all their cir****tances but it seems they have done this before. I hope this helps. Regina
