Good Morning Everyone!

It's Friday!    Today is Friday!

How was your day yesterday?  What are your plans for today?  Do you have any weekend plans?
Come on in and share with us.  Feel free to ramble away.

Yesterday is just that yesterday.  Today is a new day.  Is it suppose to be SUNNY and in the high 50's today.  That in itself is enough to put a smile on my face.

My plans for today are the same as yesterday, to try and make sure my needs are met nutritionally and for my liquids.  My body has decided since I will not listen with the migraines it will switch tactics and provide me with GAS!  So I am back on liquids today.  I will pack a lot of protein drinks.  I am fighting a cold on top of noxious GAS so I need to make sure I get all my supplements in.

I am going to have to give some serious thought to obtaining help in my quest to combat the stress I seem to be under.  It has been continuous for more than 6 weeks now and there does not seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel.  If I don't deal with this now, I may end up at Dorthea Dix sometime soon!

Tomorrow is my DH chili cook off.  Everyone had to freeze their entries, since it was postponed last weekend.  Discover channel is suppose to be there to televise the event.  I should be a day of great fun and hopefully we will collect a LOT of money for the Harley Davidson charity.

Hope Everyone has a FANTASTIC Friday!

There is nothing like a couple of days knocked flat out by a cold virus that puts things into perspective. I have been feeling nearly superhuman compared to a couple of years ago as a morbidly obese person. But now I have been reminded that I am after all still human and though I can do tons more than before and usually feel so much better than before it appears I can still catch a cold. I had the flu and H1N1 vaccines so I am sure this is just a common cold and I am dealing. It just isn't fun. I used to just curl up and work through being sick but this time I am antsy and anxious. I want to go to work and do something but the body says no. So I sit here watching TV and wrapped up in a blanket in my jammies drinking hot liquids hoping to just get done with it quickly so I can get back to my routine. I hope I am feeling better enough tomorrow to go to my support meeting. I missed my local meeting last night because I am not wanting to share the misery with anyone. I really hope everyone else can stay well this cold and flu season.

That support group is FANTASTIC.  I just could not manage it last night.  Hopefully the next one.
