Saturday Check-in
Good Morning Everyone!
How was your day yesterday? Do you have any plans for today? How about tomorrow? Come on in an share with us, feel free to just ramble away.
Sorry that I was AWOL this week. I have a lot on my plate at work right now and have really been struggling with everything. Unfortunately it is not over yet and next week will be even more of a challange. I am unable to share at this time, but please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I get through the next week. I will probably be absent without leave again for most of the week, so please carry on and support each other with out me.
It is such a pretty sight out of my windows right now with the reflections off the snow. Right now is the quiet time of day just before sunrise. It seems so clean and crisp. DH and I were suppose to participate in a chili cook-off for charity today. It was going to be televised on the Discover channel, but due to the storm, it was rescheduled for next Saturday. That means I have to decide to disappoint DH and leave him to serve our chili alone or miss the Raleigh meetup next Saturday. I pledged to not miss a meetup this year if at all possible and here I am having to choose already and it is only February. I made more than 2 1/2 gallons of chili for today and now have to figure out what to do with it.
Today will be a day of grocery shopping and errands. The roads are clear here so travel should be uneventful. I plan on relaxing sometime this afternoon with a good book, my recliner and a fire in the gas logs.
