Sunday Check-in
How was your day yesterday? Do you have any plans for today? Come on in and share with us.
Yesterday was wet, cold and dreary. I started the day out with a massage and me time at the "Bucks" and the "Beck's Diet Solution Workbook". I hope to continue with a few more lessons so I can catch up with the "Beck's Group" on OH. Then it was back to the house for the roofing contractor that never showed. If I knew this was going to happen I could have made the Greenville meetup or other "out of town" trips.
We had lunch at Smokey Bones yesterday and I ate what I thought was a healthy choice. A Southwestern Grilled Chicken Salad. Boy was I wrong. Sparkspeople shows this comes in at a whopping 600+ calories! That put the rest of my meal plan way off. Today is a new day.
I got most of my chores caught up so today can be more relaxing. I will cook for our lunches and quick dinner during the upcoming week and finish laundry.
Hope Everyone has a wonderful Sunday! Keep safe.
Hello and happy Super Bowl everyone! I am going to try very hard to be a good girl today! I am not a football person...but you know how it is at football parties!!
Goody, I totally understand how shocking it is to find out how many calories are in something you "thought" was good! Like you said, we just have to figure this will happen sometimes and work harder...or workout harder...LOL! I try to explain that to my non-WLS friends. It's CRAZY to find out what is in the things we normally eat everyday, thinking it's ok. My hubby just found out how much "yuck" is in a Double Cheeseburger!! EEWY!
I hope everyone has a fantastic day today!
Today was a great day. I spent over an hour shoveling snow. No way could I have done this before losing 100 pounds. The physical exertion felt so good! Who knew? This afternoon I unearthed my sewing machines so I could shorten some pants I scored at Goodwill for $4.
Back to work tomorrow, praying for decent weather this week. I have seen enough snow and ice to last me a lifetime. I made a hugh pot of chili yesterday. I freeze in individual portions that I can grab on the way out the door.
Hope everyone has a safe and peaceful week.
