Congratulations!!! And no, you are not driving us crazy. Even though my surgery was more than 2.5 years ago, I absolutely remember it's approach. It was as life-changing an event for me as my marriage to my husband and the birth of my children.

Yea!!! Lisa, I am having Fuzz do mine 3 weeks from Monday so we are only a week apart from the same clinic!!! Maybe we could meet up at the next group session!!
So did you start your presurery diet on Monday? Is it horrible I start Monday. Amber gave me some packets so I am gonna try a few over the weekend to see which ones I can stand.
Good luck and I look forward to updates!!

Hi Dani,
I started the presurgery diet yesterday.  Amber gave me some packs too and I bought some others at The Vitamin Store.  I would definitely get smaller bottles and get a variety because after having several strawberry/kiwi shakes I am ready for something different.  I bought some chocolate today and it wasn't too bad.
I go to Amber's 1:00 group session this coming Monda (2-8-10).  Will you be there for that one?
Please feel free to call me if you have any questions, frustrations or just need to talk to someone who is "walking in your shoes."

Lisa I just got home today from having my bypass. I did as you and tried a lot of the protein shakes before hand. And let me tell you. What you liked before will probably not be what you will like after surgery. All of the shakes that I tried were so thinck and chalky tasting that I could not drink them and keep it down. Isopure zero carb was the fix for me. they don't have the greatest flavor but they are thin more like water or juice. i hope all goes well..
