Tuesday check-in
I'm going to do something I normally don't do - I've got to promote a movie. IF you are one of the few people left on earth that has not seen the movie Avatar yet -----what are you waiting for? Since it came out I had found a thousand different reasons not to go. david really wanted to go see it. He played the "poor pitiful me...it's what I really want for my birthday ...." yada yada yada routine on me last night. Of course I couldn't deny him. So we went. I didn't move from my seat. I didn't squirm. I even forgot I had tailbone issues for a few hours. I want to go see it at the nearest Imax theater. I have NEVER enjoyed a movie enough to consider paying to see it in a theater the second time. For whatever reason this one and its characters connected with several places in my heart - not even Titanic did that.
Now back to OH business - the food is planned out for the day. I've restocked my healthy drawer and fridge at work. I've got a date with the treadmill this evening when I get in from work. I've already got half my vitamins in for the day.
Barb - any word on your grand nephew this morning? I saw the report late yesterday that made things look much better. I'll continue to keep them (Mom, dad & Baby) in my thoughts and prayers.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Day!!!

Been out of touch for a few days and missed you all!!! I had a really good and relaxing weekend. We went bowling!!! OMG... i haven't bowled in over 30 years... suffice it to say that my HIGH game was 67!! But we had fun, then went to a movie.
My food intake over the weekend was good (not great) so i'm at least fairly satisfied with that. I'm trying to stay on track. Thats all i can do.
My work is very busy right now since this is my busy season (I'm an accountant) so that stress also affects my eating habits. I'm trying to be mindful and not let it come between me and my goals for success!
One of those goals for success includes stopping by here each morning for my check in!!! Talk to you all tomorow!!
Lee and I both have been nursing very bad colds this weekend but I am feeling a little better this morning.
Went to my favorite chinese place yesterday for lunch and had the waiter that always has waited on me.
He knew just what I wanted unsweetend tea and chicken lettuce wraps and knew to bring me a box LOLI havent been in there in a few months but it made me feel good to feel welcomed and have my dietary needs taken care of and no questions asked.
As for my friend I had lunch with OMG I kept my mouth shut she is a person who did not agree with me having wls and now her youngest daughter is having major weight problems and so is my friend.
So as we sat there I take a mental note of what my friend ate OMG fried rice with veggies and two regular pepsi's with no ice and egg drop soup.
I ate half of my lunch and felt very happy and grateful for my pouch.
Going to do my bike and my weights this morning and get my 64 ounces of fluid in today and am loving Healthy Choice soups for one of my small meals during the day.
I bought some more of those Lock Lock boxes at HT I love my boxes they keep everything so fresh like grapes, celery and spinach well everything I put in them.

I went in and had an MRI with contrast done on my right hand this morning. They saw the fracture in the small bone on the outside of my wrist and it seems to be healing well, but then they decided that then needed to do another examination using a flouroscope where they injected a dye directly into the carpul tunnel in my wrist to watch where it migrated... After that, a second MRI... I am so DONE with that! I'm glad it's over. I'll wait to see what the Dr. has to say, but from what the radiologist said, it looks like I have a somewhat minor tear of the tendon that looks like it might heal without surgical intervention... That really good news.
On the home front, things are still pretty stressful, especially as they relate to my mother, her estate, etc... Last night another little 'bomb' went off and I was so upset I was shaking and instead of eating everything in sight, I was actually so upset I was shaking and nauseous... I guess that's better than wanting to eat everything that's not nailed down.
Tonight is the first support group meeting of the year with Duke, so Ben and I are going. While I always enjoy the support group meetings that I host, it's nice to go to one where I don't have to 'do anything' but be there, so I'm looking forward to it.
