I was working out yesterday on my livingroom floor with the balance ball and two 5 pound weights. I am not trying to do anything too drastic but my routine includes a little weight reps for the arms and some yoga and Pilate's stuff for the core and the buns and thighs. I was able to lay flat on my back and lift my legs straight up into the air and then push them over my head and touch the floor with my toes. Before my surgery I went to a Yoga class at my gym and was not able to perform most of the moves because my body got in the way. So losing all of this weight has gotten my body out of the way and I am getting really flexible in my old age. Who would have thought? BTW folks, I am turning 53 years old in March so this is proof that its never too late to make changes toward a healthier you!

Yay for flexibility!  Keep up the good work.  The 50s are proving to be the best years of my life.
My body does not define who I am but I am trying to define my body.  It  gets easier with every pound I drop.
