Hi everyone. Its been a while since i have been on here so I wanted to give u all a update about me. Well its been 9 months since I had my surgery and I can PROUDLY say that I have lost....wait for it...wait for it....a WHOPPING 170 pounds! I cant believe how good I feel and my kids, they are running me to death, which is a good thing though lol. My youngest son, bless his little heart, does exercises with me. From walking around the block to doing my exercises using the wii. He tries his hardest too. When i am trying to do sit ups, he sits on my feet and says, you can do it mom. Hes my little cheerleader. As for joshua, my oldest son, well hes a tween so hes like ok mom, whatever lol but I know hes proud of me too. He just dont show his affections like his brother does lol.

But anyways, yea I am extremely happy. I can say without a shadow of a doubt, this surgery saved my life and I am sooooooo happy I had it done. OH and another big thing for me. I can fit into JEANS. OMGoodness, i have never in my life wore jeans before but now lol I wear them anytime I get the chance. I love how i look now, and i am now on no more meds at all. Just my vitamins. WOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!

Congratulations, Linda!  I'm so proud of you!!!  It's a great feeling to wear jeans isn't it?  I had a fellow teacher (female) tell me on one of our jeans days that I needed to wear them more often cause I lookes good in them. LOL  Hope you have continued success!!!

it's been amazing to watch your progress. Every time you post you just sound happier and happier. Keep up the great work. I know that your sons are proud of you - even the tween.

I remember when I first put on jeans too.  What a great feeling.  It was like stepping into "real life".  I had not been able to wear them either.  Now I would live in them if I could.  Congratulations on your tremendous success.  It is time to post a recent picture!
My body does not define who I am but I am trying to define my body.  It  gets easier with every pound I drop.

OMG.....you've really done great!
Just had my surgery 1/8/10 and got double pneumonia....so that's put me behind some. Just can't seem to get my strength up; too tired to do my exercising that I know I need to do. I walk right much at work {DOC}, but it's not what I need.
Having trouble getting my protein and water in too; hopefully, that will all change soon. I've lost 34 pounds so far.
