Super WOW moment

I had my one year follow-up appointment with my surgeon today. He was pleased with my 150 pound weight loss. To make a long story short, as I was leaving, one of his staff members came and said that because of my success my surgeon would like for me to be the guest speaker at his seminar. They asked if I could do this Thursday or next Thursday. Since I'll be out of town next Thursday I agreed to do this Thursday. I'm nervous to speak in front of a group of people, but I am flattered that he wanted me to do it.

Way to go! Congrats on all your accomplishments and making it successfully to your one year mark!

Being asked to speak is just  "the icing on the cake".  I'm sure you will be fine as you pay it forward.

Congratulations! Just talk to them as though you were talking to a few people around the table that were interested in considering WLS. You'll do great. Remember to leave time for Q and A's because I find that people always have questions.
