Anothe New Wow
They are getting fewer and farther between. I guess that's why I feel the need to share even the smallest wow. I still attend WW meetings (I think I've said this many times before) mainly to help me stay on track (now I'm finding I need it) and because I leave my children at home with my hubbie for the evening while I go with a friend to the meeting and then out to eat (usually KFC grilled or Wendy's chili) nothing ellaborate but it's a night of sanity! Tonight I was approached by the leader and asked if I wanted to apply to be a WW employee. I was stunned! I never would have imagined being able to be a WW employee! I asked if she was sure. She said "Well, you're within 10 lbs of goal aren't you?" I said I was about 3 lbs away. She said "ok, then, that's all you need". How cool is that? She then announce her resignation at the end of the meeting and I'm thinking "There's no way I'm being a leader! I can weigh people in but I cannot stand in front of people and lead!" I'm hoping that's not the job she has in mind for me! I wouldn't feel right leading knowing I didn't "technically" follow the plan for my weight loss. Rambling, I know. It's the end of a very long and difficult week but this made my week! So I thought I'd share!
Congratulations!!! I remember telling you that I thought you would be about my size when you lost all of your weight and you said you couldn't imagine it... Well, you're here my friend!!
Kudos on finding a support mechanism that works for you. Weigh****chers has a wonderful program and I think it's fabulous that you are leveraging it.

That is really awesome! I understand your reasons for not wanting to do it. I have a best friend that lost alot of weight on weigh****chers. In recent months she has started going back up. Lately she wants to get back on track but would have to pay if she went back. She can do it. She has the tools she just needs to jump back on track. I know it sounds crazy but I feel guilty when she tells me how great I look. I know what it is like. I traveled that road for a long time...every diet known to man...I would lose 15-20lbs and gain back 30-35. I pray I never have to go through that again. I find myself lately terrified of gaining weight back. I guess it is from being down that road and until now nothing has ever worked. I went to a family supper at church last night. One of the young guys in our church told me I looked great and that I didn't need to lose anymore...I looked at him and said thanks but I really don't have any control of that. According to my doctor only my body knows where it will stop. My weight loss has definately slowed down but I don't know where it will stop. I know I didn't do all of this to lose 45 lbs that is for sure. Guess time will tell. Congrats on your WOW moment...they are all worth celebrating!
