post op problem

I am 4 weeks out and I have a burning pain near my left navel side that only happens when I sneeze hard, or cough hard. Have any of you had this?

I didn't have this personally, but I've heard of it before. I think that I recall it was a nerve 'waking up'. A number of nerves are cut during surgery and some take a while to re-awaken. I'd call your surgeon though, let them know what's happening.

Thank you so much Barbara for you answer. It was just what the Dr said it was also. I just wanted to get my OH family to give me their feeling and experence on what it could be. Your answer really gives me confidence that my Dr isn't crazy and thinks that I'm just being a hypocondriac...lol
