A new day
He has gained some weight during his sick leave and living with him I have taken notice of some physical changes because of his weight increase.
His pants are much tighter, shortness of breath and BP is higher.
I have a feeling working 7.5 hours today is going to be really hard on him after almost two months of doing little activity.
One thing about it I have to continue to help myself.
I started my morning with a brisk walk with the bulldogs.
I really enjoy the cold mornings it just seems to get me going.
I will ride my bike for 30 minutes including sprints every 3-5 minutes also moving my arms too.
Followed by lifting my weights and sit ups.
I am enjoying challanging myself by walking up the hill faster and sprints on the bike.
Still havent heard from the PS department at UNC but plan on following up with that this week.
Also will be contacting Triangle Aftercare to get that portable cpap to recod my apnea.
As for my legs OMG they feel great.
The night time compression is helping too but the compression looks like padded boots that go to my knees.
I am able to wear them most all night but usally around 4am I am taking them off because of night sweats.
There was a time even in the summer I used an electric blanket not any more cant stand the thought of it anymore.

It's Sunday evening as I write this - how was Lee's day? I imagine he's worn slam out. I know you're taking good care of him.
I can't imagine the compression things at night - I assume that they cover your feet as well as your legs. I can't stand having my feet covered up. I'm just weird like that. I'll have the blanket all up over my head and around my face but both feet are sticking out.
Sounds like you're doing a great job on those sprints on the bike. I've stayed moving all day today and it has felt wonderful. I'm so glad that RNY not only gave me the means to lose the weight but it gave me a life in the process.
Have a great evening.

Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape.

Lee actually did great his first day back but when 9:30 came around he was so ready for bed.
The night time compression do cover my feet but my toes can stick out a little.
I sure am going to look at sight once I get my compression on at night and my cpap.
It is all for the good.
Lee has always been helpful about helping me put my compression on at night but they seem to be getting easier to get on which means my legs are going down.
On a wonderful happy note my male african grey can now say his name "Merlin"
It is so cute to hear Merlin and Noel chattering in the mornings.
I told Lee they are greeting the day like most birds do.
