Plastic Surgeon Recommendations for Raleigh, NC

I know this isn't the plastic surgery site, but I thought I might be albe to find plastic surgeon recommmendations for Raleigh, Cary area.  As an update to my WLS, which was on April 13th of 2009,  I have lost a total of 110 lbs some of which was before the surgery.  I now have 20 lbs left to lose. 

I am ready to begin the search for a plastic surgeon.   Does anyone have any recommendations?  I am hoping to have a facelift, breast lift w/augmentation and a lower body lift.  I would appreciate any informtion you can provide.  Thanks!

Hi Judy,

I know that Duke has a surgeon that they have worked with for years and UNC Chapel Hill also has plastic surgery program that has experience with post WLS plastics. 

We have a few members who have been very happy with Dr. Karl Schwarz. Dr. Schwarz is located in Raleigh, off of Six Fork near Strickland. I had him do an informational seminar last year and am planning to ask him to do another in the next couple of months. One of the things that he often does when doing a breast lift/augmentation is use your own underarm tissue to perform the augmentation. It gives a nice, safe, natural augmentation and removes some of that extra skin and fat that overhangs your bra... a nice side benefit. Also, no concerns with encapsulation that comes with an implant. If I could afford plastics at all, I'd seriously consider him.
