Consultation Visit

Well, I'm so excited I just can't hide it

Saw the doctor, I had actually lost 6 pounds, he was very informative on the proceedure and said he thought the bypass was a great surgery for me.  Because of issues I had seen a doctor about prior to WLS consideration I had already had a lot of the test requirements.  With that said, the process will move along faster.  I am scheduled with the dietian on Jan 27, I will be attending the support group meeting on Jan 21 and hopefully have the surgery the first part of February!  I am so excited about this becoming a reality and finally feeling better physically and feeling better about myself.  Everyone at work and my family is happy about the change I a making for my health and support me 100%.

Yay Phyllis! I plan to go to the suppport group meeting...maybe we can officially meet!!! At my last follow up w/Dr. Davidson (in the Erwin office) he said they may eventually start up a support group at the Erwin office...wouldn't that be great!!???

Are you scheduled to see Katrina as your dietitian?  If so, you will like her too.

If I don't have any conflicts, I hope to be at this month's support group meeting also.  I would love to meet you and Karen.

Yes Katrina will be who I see. I was sooooo disapointed I could not see her while she was in the office on Wednesday but I got sick with some kind of virus/crud and could not go. It would be great if you could go to the meeting too!!  I will need all the support I can get!! Hope to see you then

Katrina is awesome. I've seen her twice would love to go to another group with her but have to juggle my work schedule....

Maybe we can meet at the meeting. That would be nice!

YAY thats awsome!! I plan on having dr davidson i hear good things about him and your dr. I cant wait to get farther in my journey and be apart of these experiences! woohoo!

I have heard great things about Dr. Davidson too. The nurse that took all my medical history said Davidson had done her surgery about 6 months ago and she did great, and looks great! Maybe you can go to the Jan 21st meeting too. It would be great to have a good support group for those of us just getting started.
