i am a month out and my family went out to eat last night to ruby tuesdays in spring lake, nc ....

the manager there and staff were awsome in taking my surgery into consideration and only charged me 2.99 for the salad bar instead of the regular 7-8 bucks....manager even provided me with a nutrition chart for all there items as well....

so if your ever in spring lake, nc please head over to ruby tuesdays.......

You are a month out and you can actually eat salad? I haven't tried salad yet. I have had to stick to strickly protein. I am going to have to try it. Thanks for the info, Danielle

Hi Danielle,

I think that one of the biggest variations from one program to another is the dietary component. It's really staggering how different the programs protocols can be. Some programs, like mine, are incredibly strict and require a 3 to 4 week clear liquid/protein regimen. Others allow introduction of foods as you tolerate them. This is why when people come on the boards and ask what they can eat, I'll tell them what my program allowed, but also strongly caution them to check with their own program. Soooo...., check with yours and see what they allow and then experiment.

Happy New Year,

Barbara
