Couple of new wows

I was in Greenville a couple of weeks ago with my dad and just happened to go into Victoria's Secret to get a bra fitting done.  The girl measured me at a 36C!  I told her I didn't know what to do.  She said "What kind of bras did you usually buy when you were a c?"  I explained to her that I don't ever remember being a C. I've gone from a 42DDD to a 36C in almost a year!   So yesterday I decided to buy a couple of bras with my Christmas money.  Guess what?  Cs have skinny straps and there's only 2 hooks!!!  I haven't ever worn a bra with only 2 hooks!

OK, second wow.  A lady and I were talking at church today.  I was congratulating her because her daughter announced that she was going to have a baby.  She said that she and her daughter were talking about me recently and her daughter said how beautiful she had always thought I was but now, with my chiseled features, she said I am gorgeous!  WOW!  You could've knocked me over with a feather!  I said no one's ever said that about me but my husband and my mom!  Cool, huh?  Still waiting for the brain to catch up with what's happened to the body...but it's coming along slowly.

Congratulations!!! and the ladies at church were right. You've always been lovely, but you are absolutely stunning now.

I laughed about the bra fitting.  SInce I lost the weight, I have absolutely NOTHING left but hanging skin, so I joked with my DH about going to Victorias Secret and trying on their new bra that is supposed to add 2 sizes....  I would just love to be a C again.  I can't even fill out a B now.... 

Congrats on those 2 great WOWs.  and yeah, the ladies were right, you are a knock out!

That is so great! I can not wait to wear a bra again. I have spent the last 5 weeks in sports tanks with holes cut out for this stupid feeding tube. I get it out MONDAY I pray. It has been the stinkiest most aggravating part of this entire ordeal. Every day when my husband flushes it I say....I HATE THIS! He says I KNOW>>>I KNOW. 4days and counting. It is the WOW moments that keep us a float CONGRATS!

I went to a program at my school that my daughter was in right before Christmas. A dear friend of mine had not seen me since before surgery. She just held my face in her hands and told my how pretty she thought I was and she never knew how tiny my face was. That was a great moment. I have lost my chubby cheeks. I think alot of the meds I was on kept me puffy...no more meds! Yeah!
