If the snow really shows up like the news says it might how many of you all will still try to make it to the meet-up this Saturday? I will attempt it if the roads are clear enough. Maybe the snow will wait 'til Saturday night instead..........

Hi Ann,
I was thinking the same thing about Saturday.
Lee on the other hand wants snow so he can plow the street we live on.
BTW Margy is #1 with Lee and I and the pets.

Yeah, i've been concerned about the weather Sat. morning too!  I try not to drive in snow/ice.... Maybe we'll have to make it a New Year get together instead of a Christmas get together.

I'm taking a wait and see approach, but if it's at all dangerous, I don't want anyone to venture out. I'll keep an eye on the news and I'll send out a notice if seems prudent to cancel.

As Judy suggested, if the weather is foul, maybe we'll have to postpone and just have a New Year's celebration instead.

Stay tuned...

I've lived in North Carolina for 20 years now and I've learned how unpredictable the weather can be here.  I don't panic when someone says the "S" word, because being sandwiched between the ocean and the mountains, we just don't know.  A front can slightly move and make all the difference.

I think I will have to wait and see what the roads are like tomorrow morning. The snow is really coming down hard and beginning to accumulate. Its not sticcking on the roads yet but I got to leave work 2 hours early to make sure I would not have issues driving home. There is a Food Lion right next to my street so running out of anything isn't an issue as long as my debit card works LOL!

A little snow would be beautiful though.
My body does not define who I am but I am trying to define my body.  It  gets easier with every pound I drop.

Made a big pot of 15 bean soup today love my soup.
It is sleeting here we made an agreement that if we loose power and I wake up I will wake Lee up to go get the generator and move the birds in the kitchen with the space heaters.
From all reports sounds like this is going to change over to rain during the night.
