Good Morning Everyone!  Hope you are having a Good day.

After posting here yesterday and cross posting part of the same post on the RNY board, I decided not to make the visit to my friend.  I will just wait and see if she contacts me.  I actually arrived home at a reasonable hour and enjoyed a quiet evening with DH.  I did sleep more deeply last night and for a few more hours than the night before.

It was wonderful to see Dalton posting again yesterday!

Today is another hectic day at work.  Tonight I will meet my adopted "family" for dinner at Ruby Tuesdays and then we will go to the school play of my "daughter", Katlyn.  She is 9 years old and a real drama queen.  I just love that child!  (This family actually consists of my co-worker, her husband, daughter and another co-worker)  We act as a real family around Katlyn's activities.  It has really been nice for me, since I do not have any real children other than my furbabies.

I also have another adopted "daughter", Katie.  She is 13 yrs old and I have celebrated events with her and her single mother (another co-worker) since she was 4 yrs old.  We will have our "Christmas" Monday night.  When I lost most of my weight, Katie actually started crying one evening when I saw her.  I asked her why she was crying and she told me she was going to miss the big hugs I gave when I was bigger!  I had to assure her that my hugs would still be big.
I did not realize how much a part of my life she had become, or me a part of her world until that day.

I am rambling now.....

Hope Everyone has a wonderful day!

Ramble away.  What Katie said gave me a lump in my throat.  I guess I am emotional today or something.   I would probably cry at a Hallmark commercial now too.  lol
Yesterday turned out to be a good day but it had a rough start.  Today I look like a homeless person.  I leave the house in the morning wearing my workout clothes.  I take my work clothes with me.  I finished up at the gym, showered and changed.  I was at work for at least 1.5 hrs before I realized that the top I had on had a bleach splatter on it.  Thank goodness I brought a blazer in case I got chilly.  It does cover all the uglies.  I guess this shirt will go into the trash or at least my painting clothes drawer.  I really liked this top too.  I have only worn it about 5 times.  Rats!
My mother tells me that I am having anorexic thoughts.  I am fixated on my goal weight.  I am 4 lbs from it.  I am wearing a size 6 so I am happy about that but I want to get to my goal weight.  She thinks I am nuts.  Well, it is only 4 lbs.  It isn't like I want to lose 20lbs or anything.  She went from telling me to slow down and not eat so much to telling me that I need to eat and that I work out too much.  I feel like what I am doing is healthy.  I think it is just such a change for her that she is over reacting.    She at times has me second guessing myself.  Then I will speak with DH or a friend who I can count on to tell me the truth.  They think I am fine.  Is any one else experiencing family members showing too much concern?
My body does not define who I am but I am trying to define my body.  It  gets easier with every pound I drop.
