Still here...
Hello Fellow North Carolinians!
I haven't posted in a long time but I wanted to stop in and say hello to everyone. Good to see everybody, some of the new pics and avatars are pretty amazing.
I'm at 21 months out and pretty much still at goal. I've gone from 320 at my highest to around 200 or so. I "bounce" between 195 and 205 depending on the day. I still am off all meds.
I walk/jog/run 5 days per week and do weight training twice a week. I have very few issues with food which is sometimes a bad thing. I eat ice cream (GASP!) about 3 or 4 times a week. (small portions) I know...BAD! But, I've done well with that, and it keeps me sane. LOL I'm "ok" with not being perfect. :)
To those of you in the beginning stages, planning stages, thinking about it stages: Be encouraged. It's tough at first but well worth it. I have **LIVED** more in the past year and a half that I did in the previous 15.
Best wishes
Jason

Jason,
It is good to see that you are doing so well. Sounds like you are living life and that is why most of us had WLS, so we could start living. I know what you mean about having "lived" more now then before WLS, but I can tell you at more than 2 years out, I am still finding the WOWs in life.
Wishing you the very best life has to offer..................Carrie

Hi Jason,
It's great to hear from you and to hear that you are doing so well. I don't think that ice cream is as much of an issue as managing behavior. It sounds like you are managing it and that's why you are able to maintain you weight.
Wishing you continued success,
Barbara
