Good Morning Everyone!

Yesterday was an exhausting day at work.  Our office celebration was very nice, but I paid the price of being out 2 days last week.

Fred had a very taxing day also, so we opted out of our evening celebration since it did not require a RSVP or regrets and was held at a restaurant.

I was able to keep my coffee down to 1/2 of my coffee mug yesterday, so today I decided to try and limit my coffee to just the serving I have first thing in the morning at home and hopefully be able to pass on any the rest of today.

Today, as well as the rest of this week, will be packed with appointments and lots of stress at work.

I see a  "salad"  for lunch from the left-overs from yesterday's office celebration.  We had a vegetable tray, meat/cheese tray and deviled eggs that I think will make a nice salad.  I did observe yesterday and noticed that most people went for the rich fat filled dishes first.  The healthier foods are the last to go.  I have become a real people watcher of late and it has really opened my eyes to human nature.  I try very hard not let my observations be obvious as I don't want anyone to ever think I am judging them in any way.

I will commit to increasing my water intake again today.  I can see this is a work in progress and I will need to keep reminding myself to drink.  This is really amazing to me, since before surgery I drank water all the time and I was concerned about the liquids at meals.

Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Tuesday.

Good morning.  I was out of work yesterday with a toothache that had started Friday evening.  I don't know why I didn't go to work and just call the dentist.  It is not like he did anything but give me meds and an appt for a root canal on Thursday.  UGH.  I am wondering if my calcium is low.  I have had 2 teeth abscess now since my surgery.  Actually only a month apart and they were neighboring teeth.  I think the infection just traveled or something.  What do I know...  I just hate dealing with the dental insurance, pain, and stuff.  I want a mouth full of beautiful white straight teeth with no pain.   That is what I want for Christmas.  heh heh
Family and job are good so I have no real complaints.  I am a lucky woman.  Parents and siblings are all healthy.  I have a lot to be thankful for.
I was reading a post where someone was saying that they are "hit" on now that she has lost weight more than ever before.  It went back and forth about how that happens when you lose weight and the armor of weight we shrouded ourselves with.  Well, I am here to tell you that NO ONE hits on me.  I am still invisible.  Not that I want to flirt and have an affair but it would be nice to be noticed by the opposite sex.  My husband makes up for it though.  He is so supportive and sweet.  But still... lol
I have a few more things to finish up and we will be ready for Christmas.  My husband has never had it so easy shopping before.  He can actually buy stuff now and feel fairly sure it will fit.  I actually have bought a few things and wrapped them up from him to me.  Won't he be surprised!  heh heh
My body does not define who I am but I am trying to define my body.  It  gets easier with every pound I drop.

Sandy,

I know a toothache can make life so miserable.  Hope the medication helps to releave some of the discomfort long before the root canal.

Some of the best gifts I have received are the ones I picked out, wrapped and labeled from SANTA!   But I have to admit that my husband does pretty well on his own.
